Color Harmonies Portrait Project
Using digital photography, students create grayscale portraits of themselves and separate their image into 8 levels of value in Photoshop. Using this grayscale portrait as a value reference, students create a series of six color portraits using Illustrator to explore saturation and hue within the following six color harmonies: monochromatic, analogous, complimentary, split complimentary, triad & tetrad.
